D.C.’s neighborhoods are currently experiencing many changes as wealthier residents move in and inadvertently push older and poorer residents out, a phenomenon known as gentrification. Petworth in Northwest D.C. is one neighborhood with a rapidly changing face. Residents, old and new, reflect on changes they’ve witnessed and how the neighborhood is different.
